January 5, 2007, Newsletter Issue #34: Gathering Evidence from an Auto Accident

Tip of the Week

After you are in a car accident, it's important to reflect back on what happened as the accident took place. Take the time to sit down and write a short summary of what you were doing at the time of the accident, and what the other party was doing. Make sure to note any unusual situations or circumstances surrounding the car accident, and get any other witnesses to write down their experiences as well. You can also take pictures of any physical injuries you may have received as well as any damage to your vehicle. Take these photos as soon as possible, so there is no doubt as to when the damage occurred. All of these items will help your car accident lawyer to make a stronger case for you.
